The Best Sleep Supplement – Amazing Natural Sleep Aid (Kino Sleep Review)

The Best Sleep Supplement I’ve Ever Tried

(Kino SLEEP – Incredibly Effective All-Natural Sleep Aid)

I cannot remember a point in my life when I wasn’t struggling to get good quality sleep. For most of my adult life, I’ve been on the look out for the best sleep supplement just to help me achieve a good night rest.

If you’re a natural easy sleeper, you probably won’t understand this. But if you’re anything like me, rest assured you aren’t alone – many people in our society today suffer from sleep difficulties and are sleep deprived, at least occasionally.

We all know that sleep is absolutely essential for our normal and healthy functioning. Yet most folks do not get enough sleep. And even if they do, it probably isn’t the best quality sleep they can get!

Well, you can thank stressful lifestyles, too much caffeine, and bad habits like using smartphones at night for that (explanation: the blue light that our devices emit are throwing our circadian rhythm out of whack).

My Personal Background (lifelong sleeping difficulties)

As mentioned, I cannot recall any time in my life that sleep came easy for me. As a kid, as a teenager, and then as an adult – sleep has been one of the worst bugbears in my life. INSOMNIA SUCKS!

I was always super envious of those who seem to be able to fall asleep with ease (almost at will) within seconds of hitting the pillow. Meanwhile, Frustrated Me would lie in bed for hours, tossing and turning. As the hours go by, I’d only get more anxious at the thought of feeling lethargic as shit the next morning.

This problem is exacerbated by me being an over-thinker. If you’re someone who thinks a lot – your mind is always on the go and constantly chattering, then my friend, you would understand.

Problems with my sleep quality have been extremely counter-productive to my personal and professional goals. Whether it’s getting stronger in the gym or growing 3 businesses, I need all the help I can get to maximize my productivity and maintain good health!

Like many people, I initially bought into mainstream remedies and tried solutions like Chamomile Tea and Melatonin. As well as less commonly known sleep aids such as 5-HTP or Kava-Kava. All in all, I must have tried at least a dozen different sleep supplements.

Did any of them work? HELL NO!

Why Not Melatonin?

In fact, the most popular solution might be the worst! Conventional wisdom of melatonin being a “sleeping pill” is actually a popular misunderstanding of its usage, and it can actually do more harm than good.

Firstly, melatonin is NOT a sleeping pill. All it does is to work with your biological clock by signalling to your brain when to sleep. It does not actually make you sleepy. So for someone who just took a long flight across two continents and is suffering from temporary jet lag, melatonin might be useful. I say “might” because even studies that support melatonin as a remedy for jet lag tend to be paid by the industry itself. Overall there has been very little solid evidence on its effectiveness for treating insomnia.

So anyway back to me… I have messed up my biological clock over the years through countless late nights. Taking melatonin before going to bed at 5AM might help me get 1-hour of rest before I find myself wide awake again at 6AM!

Secondly, most people utilize melatonin wrongly – in terms of dosage and duration. According to research done by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the proper dosage should be 0.3 – 1.0 mg while commercial products you get in health stores tend to have dosages as high as 10 times more than that!

In terms of duration, melatonin won’t be effective in the long-term as your body will habituate to it (i.e. have a diminished response after repeated use). It can be helpful for a few days, but definitely isn’t a sustainable solution in the long run.

Enter Kino SLEEP: 100% Research-Backed Nighttime Sleep Aid

I came to know about Kino SLEEP because I’ve been a long-time follower and fan of one of the creators behind this amazing product – Gregory O’Gallagher.

Greg is a fitness expert who has been giving out tons of valuable information FOR FREE for many years via his blog and YouTube channel – building up trust and a community of hundreds of thousands followers along the way.

Which is why when Greg, together with his good friend and health expert Christopher Walker, came up with this product to help guys achieve better sleep (and thus better recovery/performance/results from the gym), I knew I had to check it out.

The SLEEP Formula: 3 Powerful Blends

With any dietary supplement, I ALWAYS pay attention to the composition of the ingredients. Make sure you read the label to know exactly what you are putting into your body!

Kino SLEEP is made of 3 powerful blends. You can do your own research on the individual ingredients but in short – the creators of this product have taken tremendous efforts to only include the highest quality stuff.

Sleep Induction Blend

  • Ashwagandha (300mg)
  • Lemon Balm Extract (400mg)

Restoration & Recovery Blend

  • L-Glycine (2,000mg)
  • L-Theanine (300mg)
  • Magnesium (200mg)

Stimulant Removal Factor

  • Rutaecarpine (100mg)

I particularly appreciate the last ingredient, as it demonstrates the level of thought that has gone into this product (unlike other generic sleep supplements on the market).

Rutaecarpine is included to remove caffeine from your body, which is SUPER useful for folks like me who consume a hell lot of coffee during the day. Now, I don’t have to worry about taking in too much caffeine, even if I do it late in the day before my workouts!

My Honest Thoughts: Does Kino SLEEP Deliver?

(plus taste test)

In summary, YES.

Kino SLEEP definitely delivers and I have been loving it so far.

First off, it tastes great (if you need to know, it kinda tastes like lemon tea/juice, but better) and exceeds all my expectations (well, I’ve tried some really nasty stuff like you won’t even believe it, so perhaps my expectations are low in this aspect). Obviously your mileage will vary and some people might not find the flavor as fantastic or appealing as I do.

Does it do the job? Heck yeah. I take it nearly every night, 30-45 minutes before bed, and I find myself falling asleep easier and faster. I have been using it for a month now, and don’t expect any problem to arise out of long-term usage.

In fact, unlike some other sleep supplements that may cause negative side effects in the long-term, Kino SLEEP actually has long-term benefits since its ingredients improve your overall health and body functioning.

As a side benefit to those of you who are into bodybuilding or intense sports, I also realize that I recover better from my gym sessions (even though I haven’t been sleeping more than usual). Coupled with the fact that I now rarely wake up in the middle of the night, my conclusion is that Kino SLEEP absolutely delivers in terms of promoting better quality sleep.

BONUS: Wake Up Feeling Great Every Day!

If the ability to fall asleep AND stay asleep is not good enough for you, there is also a sweet little bonus.

This bonus actually gets me pretty excited. On most days, I notice an “afterglow” effect.

I don’t really know how to describe it, but it’s like a sense of calm and contentment in the morning after you had taken Kino SLEEP the previous night.

You feel more present in the moment, and relaxed. This is pretty huge for me personally because I have NEVER been a morning person and for my entire life, I have always been grumpy AF in the morning.

These days I’m more productive because I wake up and feel ready to take on the day.

I also feel a significant reduction in my stress levels, which is absolutely important for someone like me trying to run multiple businesses.

While I have never asked Greg about this, my best guess is that these pleasant effects are residual effects from the 300mg of Ashwagandha in the formula. Ashwagandha is a traditional Indian herb, and is well-known as an adaptogen (stress reliever).

My Only Minor Complaint

The only gripe I have with this product is that the powder tends to require more effort at stirring in order to be dissolved properly. This is especially if you’re mixing it with room temperature water (which is probably why the instructions on the label tells you to use warm water).

Anyhow, I don’t find it too much of a hassle to spend a few extra seconds stirring my drink. I’d normally use water at room temperature and break up the clumps of powder with a spoon.

Conclusion

If you want to fall asleep AND stay asleep through the night, you can get Kino SLEEP here.

Just so you know, this is NOT an affiliate link and I do not receive any commission if you choose to purchase.

If you like this review, I might do more reviews on other Kinobody products in future.

I’ll see you in the next post.
